Service Provider Terms

About these terms

These terms apply to professionals and shops ("providers") who use the Servmitr Provider app to receive jobs and, where they run a shop, to list products. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

You are independent

You are an independent business, not an employee, partner or agent of Servmitr. You decide whether to take a job, how to do it and what tools to use. You are responsible for your own taxes, licences, insurance and the safety of your work.

Verification

• To take jobs you must verify your identity: Aadhaar through DigiLocker, then your PAN. You may also be asked for shop or trade documents.
• Everything you give us must be true and belong to you. False or borrowed documents lead to removal.
• We may re-check your details and may ask for updated documents.

Taking and doing jobs

• You receive jobs for your trade near you while you are marked as available. The first provider to accept a job gets it.
• Accept only jobs you can do at the time given. Arrive when you say you will, be polite, and follow the job’s address and instructions.
• Use the start code and bill in the app so both sides have a record. Do not ask a customer to pay you outside the app for a job that came through it, except cash you record in the app.
• When you cancel a job, give the customer a real reason.

Payments, cash and fees

• Customers pay the amount on the bill online or in cash.
• Where the customer pays you cash, that money is collected on Servmitr’s behalf where the app says so, and it must be paid in by the due date shown in the app. Unpaid cash can pause your access to new jobs and may attract a penalty as shown in the app.
• Any fee Servmitr charges providers is shown in the app before you accept a job. We will tell you before we change it.

Your conduct

You agree not to:

• overcharge, add work the customer has not agreed to, or pressure customers,
• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone,
• share a customer’s details or use them for anything other than the job,
• manipulate reviews, ratings or availability, or run more than one account.

Customer information

You will see a customer’s name, address and job details only after you accept their job. Use them only to do that job and keep them private, in line with our Privacy Policy and the law.

Suspension and ending

We may pause or remove a provider who breaks these terms, is repeatedly unavailable or cancels, receives serious complaints, or puts customers at risk. You may stop using the app and ask us to close your account at any time, after settling any amount you owe.

Responsibility and law

You are responsible for the work you do and for any loss or damage it causes. Servmitr is a marketplace and is not liable for your work. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts in Maharashtra having jurisdiction.
