About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Servmitr for your use of our website and apps as a customer. By creating an account or posting a job you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Servmitr.

What Servmitr is

Servmitr is a marketplace. We help you find independent professionals near you and put you in touch with them. The professionals are not our employees. The work is a service between you and the professional; Servmitr is not the provider of that service.

We verify the identity of providers before they can take jobs, but we do not guarantee the quality, timing or outcome of any work.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number. Keep the number and the codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us true information, especially your address, so the professional can find you.

Posting a job and getting it done

• You describe what you need and where you are. We send it to verified professionals nearby and the first who is free accepts.
• Servmitr is available only in the areas we have opened. If you are outside them you can ask us to come to your area.
• Once a professional accepts, you get their details and the job appears in your bookings. Be reachable at the address and time you gave.
• You agree the price with the professional. Ask about charges, including for parts and materials, before work starts.
• You may be asked for a start code when the professional arrives, and you may be shown a bill when the work is finished.

Payment

Servmitr does not add a booking fee for customers. You pay the amount on the bill, either online through the app or in cash at the door. Online payments are processed by our payment partner. If you pay in cash, pay the amount on the bill to the professional and ask for the job to be closed in the app.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a booking before the professional starts the work. Refunds and cancellations are covered in detail in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

How to behave

You agree not to:

• give false information or use someone else’s account or number,
• post jobs that are unlawful, unsafe or not genuine, or to harass, threaten or discriminate against a professional,
• try to avoid the app to take the job off the platform once a professional has been introduced through it, where this is meant to avoid a fee due,
• interfere with the service, scrape it, or try to get into parts of it that are not meant for you.

Ratings and reviews

You may rate a professional after a job. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We may remove reviews that are abusive, false or off topic.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Servmitr running and to list only verified professionals, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, Servmitr is not liable for the professional’s work, for loss or damage arising from it, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for anything connected with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspending or closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. You can stop using Servmitr and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and continuing to use Servmitr after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts in Maharashtra have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer under law.
